XVR™

XVR™ is an engraved Anilox Roll with a surface like the XLT™ that has been engineered for extended volume ranges (XVR) . This Anilox Roll is best suited for combination plate printing like those of screens and solids. XVR rolls have CPI (cells per inch) and BCM’s (billion cubic microns) that exceed that of conventional engraving capabilities. XVR™ rolls are not suited for all ink technologies. Testing is recommended.

Volume Application

XVR™ digital technology was developed for transferring inks and coatings with extended volume ranges. We recommend testing of thickness and functional properties needed in final use, to get the best ink mileage, best print quality, easiest impression set-up, and the most consistent levels possible.

In certain situations, best results are achieved by choosing the lowest possible volume (thinnest ink films) needed to achieve color and match with highest XVR™ line screen. Contact Harper Technical Service regarding any questions.
