Recommended Anilox Inventory for Corrugated Flexo Presses

Specified for Water-Based Inking Systems

The chart at right represents a standard anilox inventory for a corrugated flexo press.

As shown in the chart legend, the inventory is specified for printing line solids. However, this inventory can also be used to print reverse type and graphics.

This inventory is suitable for 5-color process or less complex process work. For more intricate detailed work, some higher line screen, lower volume rolls would be necessary.

The important consideration when specifying your corrugated anilox inventory is to make sure your anilox selections can print the images desired. Take a hard look at what your company is currently printing and where you will go in the future, and plan your anilox investment accordingly.

Cost Benefits of an Optimum Anilox Inventory:

  • Reduced anilox inventory through standardization of line screen and volume selection
  • Reduced anilox changes resulting in less downtime and less risk of damage
  • Reduced number of anilox rolls purchased due to planned inventory management
  • Maximum quality for every print order and greater print buyer loyalty

DISCLAIMER: The anilox inventory chart above is based on traditionally accepted volume ranges used by thousands of flexo printers around the world and should be used only as a guide. Before making any final anilox specifications, consult your anilox and ink suppliers.
