Recommended Anilox Inventory for Narrow Web Flexo Presses

Specified for Water, Solvent or UV Inking Systems

The chart at right represents a standard anilox inventory for narrow web flexo presses running water, solvent, or UV* inking systems.

*Keep in mind, some UV ink systems require approximately a 10% increase in volume. Please consult your anilox and ink suppliers regarding any anilox volume adjustment for UV.

As shown in the chart legend, the inventory specified contains anilox rolls designed for printing line solids, vignette and line, as well as process work.

The twelve anilox rolls specified below should meet the necessary requirements of any narrow web flexo job – with the possible exception of special application materials other than ink.

Cost Benefits of an Optimum Anilox Inventory:

  • Reduced anilox inventory through standardization of line screen and volume selection
  • Reduced anilox changes resulting in less downtime and less risk of damage
  • Reduced number of anilox rolls purchased due to planned inventory management
  • Maximum quality for every print order and greater print buyer loyalty

DISCLAIMER: The anilox inventory chart above is based on traditionally accepted volume ranges used by thousands of flexo printers around the world and should be used only as a guide. Before making any final anilox specifications, consult your anilox and ink suppliers.
