Echocel ET2000™ - Harper® introduced the revolutionary laser engraved 60 degree
hexagon pattern cell - raising the bar by offering engravings up to 1200 lpi. |
| 2001 |
Platinum® was the first laser engraved anilox surface to address optimized ink
release with the enhancement of ceramic coating at the subsurface. Reducing
cell wall surface porosity, that provides beneficial improvements in ink
release; with the added benifit of enhanced cleaning friendliness.
In 2002, Harper embarked on a massive project with a team of (10) laser experts
assembled from a variety of fields. The team includes optical and mechanical
engineers, laser engineers and laser engraving technicians. The project was
intended to bring to the anilox world a laser process, which would further
enhance our revolutionary Platinum® anilox surface and raise the bar in anilox
engraving capabilities and print reproduction.

INTRODUCING Harper® XLT™! The latest revolution in improved print quality!
Combining all of the benefits of Platinum® and Echocel ET2000™ in conjunction
with Advanced Laser Technology being introduced! |
|
|
The Harper® XLT™ laser engraving system is technology never before utilized in
this industry! Coupled with our new exclusive Harper® XLT™ beam delivery system
and system analyzers, the Harper® XLT™ package is a new revolution in anilox
engraving bringing improved consistency, optimized cell profiles, further
cauterized ceramic and new line screen.volume combinations.
Line screens of up to 3500 per linear inch, (that's 12,250,000 cells per square
inch!), have been realized with overall volume ranges of more than twice that
ever realized. Higher line counts and higher volumes are aimed at making
combination plate printing more viable and a single anilox engraving with much
more flexibility to satisfy a variety of print types. Harper® XLT™ anilox
program can reduce your overall anilox inventories.
