Mike has been in the industry for 15 years. Before joining the Harper GraphicSolutions team Mike was the Conversion Manager at Multifilm Packaging.


Sean Teufler
Central/Southwest Region Technical Graphics Advisor

Has had three articles published: "Utilize your Suppliers", published in PFFC in December 2004, "Enclosed Chamber Phobia" published in FLEXO in April 2005, and "Taking the Mystery out of Efficiency " written with Alexander James and published in Labels & Labeling in April/May 2006 edition 2.

Received NCSS Flexo Certification in June 2004.

Completed Ty Boyd Excellence in Speaking September 2004.

Spoke at FFTA/Arizona State University, "Printing by the Numbers-Ink Delivery" in November 2005.

 Spoke at FTA/Louisville, Kentucky, "Reduce Your Need for On-Press Color Manipulation" in April 2006.

Sean has 15 years experience in the industry. Before joining the Harper GraphicSolutions team Sean was the Senior Ink Technician at Graphic Technology for 13 years.


Bill Poulson
Northeastern Technical Graphics Advisor

FTA Judge - Excellence Awards.

Chairman for the 2006 FTA Forum session on "Pressroom & Production Practices".

Bill has had three articles published: Converting Chrome Anilox to Ceramic Anilox published in Flexo Magazing in May 2003, Setting Standards for managing Anilox Inventory published in Labels and Labeling in July 2006, and Venezuelan Offset Printer goes Flexo in February 2006.

Spoke at the FTA Forum 2005 on Arts & Science Session - Optimizing Process Printing.

Re-Certified by the National Council for Skill Standards in the U.S. for Multi Color Press Operator.

Inventor of the Poulsonator Anilox Cleaning Brush.

Read his article, "Setting Standards for Managing your Anilox Roll Inventory".

Bill's specialty is coatings and Custom Labeling.

Bill is also a narrow web press trainer.

Works with Colleges and High School Programs.

Bill has been in the industry for 34 years. Before joining the Harper GraphicSolutions team Bill was the Technical Director ARC aniloxes, and before that Press Supervisor Engraph Label - Patton division.


Alex James
Technical Graphics Manager - Eastern Division

 Alex has a Masters of Science in Graphic Communications from Clemson University, and has over 15 years of experience in the Graphics Industry.

Spoke at the FPPA in Hollywood, FL in 2004, and FTA in Orlando, FL in 2005.

Numerous industry articles published including: Labels and Labeling, 2004: "Managing Flexo Color".

 

Alex travels on a global basis helping companies resolve their Flexographic design and prepress challenges in the wide and narrow web industry. 


Paul Teachout 
Southeast Technical Graphics Advisor

Paul has over 25 years experience in the package printing industry. Starting out in off-set, Paul moved to Flexo Press manufacturing with Webtron in 1986, a manufacturer of narrow-web flexo presses. He remained with Webtron through it's evolution to become Aquaflex, a branch of FL Smithe Machine Company.

Paul has held numerous key positions including Aquaflex Printing Management, Application Specialist, Sales Support, Engineering Support, Marketing & Product Management, and Product Development Management.

He is also active on flexo industry committees and is a contributor to numerous technical articles.

Paul is responsible for Technical Service and Support to Harper Customers throughout the Southeast. 


Josh Kiser II 
Graphic Solutions Analyst Lead

Delivers technical support for the Harper Technical Lab duties including all Step-Up Audit Request and Walking Seminar Presenter.

Serves as Technical support for Harper Scientific products. Assist mfg and engineering needs for Continuous Growth and Improvement.

Completed Ty Boyd Excellence in Speaking September 2007. Before joining Harper Graphic Solutions team was the Timestudy / Methods Procedures Manager at La-z-boy Furniture Mfg.

BSBA Business Management Western Carolina University 2002.

 


Stephen Reinhardt 
Graphic Solutions Analyst

Stephen have been employed with Harper for 14 years. He has worked as a Super finish Technician, Department Lead Person and as a Laser Technician.

Has traveled to England for the new fiber-optic laser approval. He joined the Harper Graphic Solutions Team in November of 07.

Before joining Harper worked 7 years at Getrag Gears in Purchasing & on the assembly line which assembles rear-ends for the Viper, Corveete & BMW roadster.

 


 

Bill Malm 
Midwest / West Coast Technical Graphics Advisor

Bill has been in the narrow web printing industry for 14 years. During which time he has been involved in a number of Process Improvement Teams: Corporate Standards, Color Management, and Set up Reduction as well as run a variety of presses in the production of labels, multi web constructions, coupons, and games.

Programs completed:
- Flexographic Process Color Printing Symposium April 2008, hosted by the Clemson University of graphic Communications
- FFTA -RIT Color Management for Flexography February 2007, hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology
- X-Rite Color Formulation Workshop in 2006

Before joining Harper GraphicSolutions Bill was a Technical Resource Person at WS Packaging Group.
