An Aluminum Safe Solvent & UV Ink Cleaner
We are pleased to introduce ALTRAWASH BLUE ™, a new,
concentrated, cleaner specifically designed & formulated to be safe &
effective in Pressure Washing Systems, Soak Tanks and Ultrasonic tanks or as an
“on press ” anilox cleaner. Most importantly, ALTRAWASH BLUE ™
is a cleaning formula that is non -corrosive to ALUMINUM . Why is this so
important? Aluminum is used in the construction of most Anilox sleeves, both
wide and narrow web, and lightweight anilox rolls.
Containing no petroleum distillates or environmentally hazardous chemicals,
ALTRAWASH BLUE ™’ S advanced surfactant technology is exceedingly friendly to
the environment. It is a biodegradable, low vapor pressure, low V.O.C. cleaner
with a pH level of 11.8.

ALTRAWASH BLUE™ can be used in many different ways. It can be
applied by hand “on press” or flushed through the entire ink system. Keeping
only one cleaner in house for different cleaning applications saves you money!
Note: Always keep in mind that aluminum based cores are more susceptible to
corrosion. To avoid damage to the inner cores of the anilox roll always use a
cleaner with a safe pH level.
