Harper Corporation announces promotions and
additions to its laser staff
Charlotte, N.C., February 24, 2006 -
As part of its ongoing strategy to ensure the global consistency of its
products, innovative anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America is
pleased to announce the following changes to its laser operations staff:
Ray Fulk, formerly a laser technician, has been
promoted to laser maintenance specialist, where his responsibilities will
include a continuing focus on preventive maintenance and service for the
Charlotte manufacturing facility’s laser engraving systems, as well as
interfacing with Harper’s teams worldwide on the company’s global maintenance
consistency program.
A 10-year laser technical analyst for Harper’s Green Bay, Wis.,
facility, Shawn Rego has been promoted to senior laser
technical analyst. He is charged with developing a standardized preventive
maintenance program for Harper’s international use. A Class 1 laser operator,
Rego can make adjustments and perform maintenance to laser systems, and obtain
immediate feedback by testing the laser for engraving performance.
Rick Strong, an 11-year veteran at Harper
Corporation, has been promoted from laser engraver to laser specialist. He will
concentrate 80 percent of his time on research and development to enhance
Harper’s laser operations, including researching new technologies and
developing new techniques.
