Harper donates anilox rolls to Argentinian
Graphics Arts Foundation
Charlotte, N.C., April 20, 2006 - In
keeping with its dedication to flexo education, global anilox supplier Harper
Corporation of America recently donated four Platinum® XLT anilox rolls to
Centro de Investigación Gráfica Juan Gutenberg (Johannes Gutenberg Graphic
Research Centre), a nonprofit educational institution noted for its academic
excellence in professional graphics education.
According to Juan Bermudez, Latin American Sales Manager for Harper
Corporation, “We are very excited about donating these premium anilox rolls to
the Johannes Gutenberg Graphic Research Centre. This demonstrates Harper’s
commitment to flexo education in Latin America, and more specifically, in
Argentina.”
The Gutenberg Centre opened its doors to the Argentinean printing
industry in 1907. Located in Buenos Aires, the institution’s three main
functions are to: a) develop research projects focused on the improvement of
graphic production processes; b) train professionals specialized in the graphic
multimedia sector so that they may assist businesses c) help small and
medium-sized businesses with services aimed at optimizing graphic processes.
