Charlotte, NC, April 15, 2010– The registration window is quickly closing for those who want to attend the April 22 Harper Flexographic Solutions Tour stop in Atlanta – the second of six planned 2010 seminars around the country. Prospective attendees are urged to RSVP no later than Friday, April 16.

The Marriott Atlanta Airport, 4711 Best Road, in College Park, GA, will host the free day-long event. The seminars are organized by Harper GraphicSolutions™, the technical service division of global anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America. Included are presentations by flexo experts from Harper and other industry leaders.

Paul Teachout, Southeast Technical Graphics Advisor at Harper GraphicSolutions™, will open the seminar by outlining his keys to success related to pressroom standardization.

Following him, Interactive Inks’ Tom Tinerella will provide an overview of the principles and maintenance of water-based flexo inks. Ken Friedman of Provident Group will discuss how to create leak-free clean printing stations. Mike Wyatt and Jeff Paduano of ARCS will conclude the morning session by outlining care and maintenance practices for anilox rolls.

After a complimentary lunch, Wayde Clark of Dupont Cyrell Packaging Graphics will preview the next generation of digital plates. Then, Water Ink Technologies’ Kurt Hudson delves into the issues of ink technology and adhesion.

 The seminars have earned a following among print managers and supervisors, operators, pre-press managers, graphic designers, ink, plate and pre-press suppliers as well as general managers and purchasing staffers.
