Bill Poulson

Technical Solutions Manager

Bill Poulson has been in the Flexographic Industry for over 40 years and with Harper Corporation of America for the past 21 years. Bill specializes in the areas of coatings and multi-web applications but is well versed in all segments of the flexo and gravure industries. His trouble shooting abilities and technical knowledge are top notch, providing our technical services team and customers with the knowledge, tools, and training to propel them to the next level.

Bill holds a Multi-Color Press Operator Certification by the NCCO and has Levels I, II and III certifications as a FIRST Implementation Specialist by the FFTA.  Throughout his tenure at Harper, Bill has written several technical articles, co-chaired sessions for the FTA, and served as a judge for the Excellence in Flexography Award Segment of the FFTA in 2018.

Patrick Hogan

Technical Service Representative -Midwest

Before Patrick joined Harper, he was the Print Services Manager for Bemis, an industry leader in flexible packaging. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt with extensive knowledge of Flexographic and Rotogravure print processes and expertise in Graphic Arts. Recognized as a strategic thinker, relationship builder, effective mentor, and team member with proven success identifying and implementing process improvements and ensuring customer satisfaction. Known for delivering successful outcomes via robust troubleshooting and technical abilities. Patrick will be serving the Midwest region as Technical Graphics Advisor.

Darris Smith

Technical Service Representative -Southeast

Darris Smith has over 40 years in the graphics industry with 18 years as a press operator in both flexography and offset. He has experience operating narrow web, wide web, and sheet fed presses in the packaging and pharmaceutical industries. He also spent time in color matching, plate making and supervisory roles. His attention to detail led him to find a niche in process printing and being part of several teams to garner FTA awards. Today, Darris provides his vast wealth of knowledge to customers all over the Unites States though Harper Corporation of America’s technical services group.
